What is a Site Visit?
Hamilton will complete a site visit to help you plan your budget and make the most of your location. Once you’ve found the land you want to build on, one of Hamilton's authorized builders will walk your lot with you to discuss any work that will need to be done to the land prior to building.
How Long Will it Take to Build My Home?
Our average build time from foundation poured is approximately 6-7 months. Your actual build time may be subject to weather delays, strains on the local jurisdiction, homeowner participation, and the complexity of your build.
What is Site Development?
Every successful custom home build begins with land that is properly prepared for construction. Depending on the land this may include grading, clearing, sewer excavation, permitting and other items.
Can I Do Work on My Home to Save Money?
Your Hamilton authorized builder will allow you to do as much or as little your home as you wish, allowing you to take advantage of your sweat equity.

Can I Make My Home Bigger or Change the Layout?
Absolutely! All of Hamilton's homes are custom, and our plans are just a starting point. Make rooms bigger, move walls, add a dual master and more. That’s the fun of building a custom home!
Can You Customize Floor Plans?
If you find another plan you like online, you can bring it to us and we can use our in-house design team to modify it as you would like!
